This starts with a ride through the historic cobbled streets of Granada, then some gentle climbing on some nice quiet roads for the first 20 miles. A stop for lunch in Pinos Genil, then climb the Alto de Hazallanas, which features on Stage 9 of this year’s Vuelta. It's a tough climb, with a nice 14 mile descent back at the end.

This ride kicks off with the climb of El Purche (Monachil) which also features in this year’s Vuelta. It’s a punchy climb, followed by a lunch stop in Pinos Genil. There's an option to head back at this point (see short route below) but otherwise it's on to the quiet but tough climb of El Duque. The last 14 miles is all downhill.
